The former Buger Chef buildings are very distinctive and try as they may to de-Googie them, coolness remains!

Former Burger Chef  2367 SE 122nd, Portland, OR built 1970. Now  Happy Garden Chinese...this place actually has pretty good food!

I now have the urge to have a burger, fries,BBQ pork, and chow mein!
 I love the style of the buildings and that they are still around

I remember Burger Chef in Yakima in the late '60s and '70s. googie/modern style building too near Montgomery Wards on Nobhill. hit google, tons of burger chef stuff!
