Our October, 2011, meeting was held at the beautifully restored Frank Shell house of Matthew Siegel, in Southwest Portland. We’d like to thank Matthew for letting us meet there and for telling us all about the history of the house and his renovation project. The architect’s granddaughter was also on hand to answer questions.
[Pssssst...the house is also for sale. If you're in the market for a stunning midcentury modern home by a noted architect, this is a good one!]
We are now in the nomination period for League officers. All positions are up for a vote, in accordance with our charter. Nominations will remain open until the November meeting, at which time the paid members will vote. Email voting will be opened one week before the meeting. All nominees are currently unopposed, but if you’d like to nominate yourself for one of these positions, please let us know!
